Hull City striker Matty Fryatt has denied rumours that he is looking to leave the Championship side.

Fans had begun to question the Nuneaton-born striker's commitment after it emerged he had put his house up for sale.

"I had a third child recently and it's difficult for my wife when I'm away so she wants to move closer to the family home," he told 91Èȱ¬ Radio Humberside.

"It doesn't change anything for me, it just means I'll have to travel more."

Fryatt notched his 100th league goal in Monday's 2-1 win over play-off hopefuls Middlesbrough.

Tigers boss Nick Barmby said: "He was brilliant today. He made clever runs and got his goal with a great finish."
