Hibernian manager Pat Fenlon has added Coventry City striker Roy O'Donovan and Wolves defender Matt Doherty to his Easter Road squad until the summer.

The loan moves for the Irish duo were completed on the final day of the January transfer window.

O'Donovan, 26, began his career at Cork and will join his Sky Blues team-mate James McPake, who moved on loan to the Edinburgh club last week.

And Doherty, 20, will work again with Fenlon, his manager at Bohemians.

Coventry City chief executive Tim Fisher described O'Donovan's move to Hibs as "an opportunity for Roy to go out and get first team football and we wish him well".

Doherty, who can play at right-back or centre-back, moved to Molineux in July 2010 and made his league debut against Liverpool in September.

He told the Hibs website: "I'm excited about playing for Hibs and about working with Pat again. He has given me a chance to get some game-time and I'm looking forward to it.

"Hopefully playing first team football week in, week out will benefit me in many ways.

"My aim is to do well as I can for Hibs and then go back and challenge for a first team place at Wolves next season."
