Salisbury City have signed winger Lloyd Macklin on loan from League Two side Torquay United until January.

The 22-year-old has been cleared to make his debut for the Whites in Saturday's FA Cup second round clash with Grimsby Town.

Macklin has struggled to force his way into Gulls boss Martin Ling's plans this season, making six appearances.

He has not played since coming on as a half-time substitute in the 1-0 defeat at Bradford City in October.
