Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade signs contract extension

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade has committed his future to the club by signing a new deal until the end of the 2013-14 season.
Slade, 51, arrived at and has won 34 of 88 games in charge.
Orient chairman Barry Hearn told the club website: "I'm absolutely delighted Russell has signed a new long-term contract with the club."

The former Yeovil and Brighton boss, took Orient to within one point of the League One play-offs last season, finishing in seventh spot.
Hearn continued: "He has been shown himself to be an excellent manager during his time with us, first keeping us in the division and then delivering our best season for a generation.
"His energy and enthusiasm is infectious - and we can see what impact that has had over the last 18 months. I'm looking forward to that continuing over the next few seasons too."
