Forward Will Grigg has signed a new contract with Walsall, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2013.

The 20-year-old Northern Ireland Under-21 international has scored three goals in 17 appearances for the Saddlers so far this season.

Boss Dean Smith told the "He has come on extremely well over the past six or seven months and deserves this new and extended contract.

"I'm looking forward to working with him and helping him to improve."
