Salisbury 3-1 Arlesey

  • Published

Salisbury moved into the second round of the FA Cup as they beat Southern Premier Division Arlesey.

The hosts scored first when Daniel Fitchett collected a pass from Darrell Clarke and fired home from 10 yards.

Dean Sinclair equalised in spectacular style with a bicycle kick but Jake Reid restored Salisbury's advantage with a penalty after Fitchett had been fouled.

Blue Square Bet South side Salisbury sealed their victory through a curling effort from substitute Adam Kelly.

Second goal was turning point - Clarke

"What a tie. Fair play to Arlesey, they made it very difficult. It took a late third goal to seal it.

"I thought it was a lot better in the second half. We dominated it.

"I am absolutely delighted for everybody involved at the football club."
