James Paterson rescued a point for Walsall at Huddersfield with his first ever senior goal.
Jordan Rhodes was twice denied by Saddlers keeper David Grof and fired wide as the Terriers dominated the opening period.
The hosts got their breakthrough when Gary Roberts' cross was converted from close range by Lee Novak.
Substitute Paterson grabbed the leveller when he fired home a wonderful curled effort from Mat Sadler's pass.
Huddersfield are now 42 league games unbeaten, joint second with Nottingham Forest and seven behind Arsenal's English record.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark told 91热爆 Radio Leeds:
"We've passed the ball very well and created numerous chances which, on another day, would be in the net and we'd have more than a goal advantage.
"It wasn't to be, I've told the lads their perfomance was good, just not clinical enough to take the three points.
"Walsall showed great guts and determination but in all honesty I think we deserved to win."
