Aston Villa have recalled Andreas Weimann from his loan spell at Watford.

The 20-year-old striker was set to be at Vicarage Road until early January, but Villa had the right to terminate the deal after 28 days.

"It came at us a bit late," Watford manager Sean Dyche told 91热爆 Three Counties Radio.

"But part of the flexibility of the loan allows that to happen, we haven't got a problem with it, it's just part and parcel of the system."

The Premier League side could be light in attack for this weekend's clash with QPR, with Darren Bent and Emile Heskey both facing late fitness tests.

Weimann, in his second loan spell at the Hornets, started all of Watford's last three games.

The Austria Under-21 international failed to find the net during his latest stint, but scored four goals in 19 games during a five-month stay in Hertfordshire last season.
