Goalkeeper Iain Turner close to Preston North End deal

Preston North End are set to complete the signing of goalkeeper Iain Turner on a free transfer from Everton, pending a medical.
Turner, 27, spent the last three months of the season on loan at Deepdale.
His imminent arrival should bring an end to their search for a new first-choice goalkeeper following the departure of Andy Lonergan to Leeds.
Keepers Roy Carroll, David Lucas and Thorsten Stuckmann have all been on trial this summer at Preston North End.
