Shroot made just one Birmingham appearance in two and a half years
Stevenage have signed midfielder Robin Shroot on a two-year deal following his release from Birmingham City.
The 23-year-old, who had been on trial at Broadhall Way this summer, last week.
The ex-Northern Ireland Under-21 international after spells with AFC Wimbledon, Staines and Harrow Borough.
His only Blues game came later that month in an FA Cup defeat by Wolves.
During his time at St Andrew's he had loan spells at Walsall, Burton and Cheltenham.
