Mansfield Town have completed the signing of Leicester City defender Luke O'Neill on a one-year deal.

O'Neill, 19, who made 21 appearances while on loan at Kettering last season, was told in May that the Foxes .

He told the Mansfield club website: "I was impressed with the stadium, the manager and the set up here and those are the main reasons why I have signed.

"My aims are to play as many games as possible and to gain promotion."
