Bristol City have signed winger Yannick Bolasie from relegated Plymouth Argyle.

The Robins had an undisclosed bid for the 22-year-old accepted by the Pilgrims last Monday and he has now agreed terms on a two-year contract.

He told 91热爆 Radio Bristol: "I'm happy to get everything wrapped up and I'm looking forward to a delightful season.

"It's sad [to be leaving Plymouth] but in football you move on and I can't wait to show the Bristol City fans what I can do."

Bolasie, who still had a year left to run on his contract at 91热爆 Park, made 38 appearances in the 2010/11 campaign, scoring seven goals.

He signed for Argyle in 2008 but spent time on loan at Barnet and Rushden before becoming a first team regular.

The Congo-born winger is excited to be renewing acquaintances with his former Barnet colleague and Robins player of the season Albert Adomah.

"I used to played against him at semi-pro level before I moved out to Malta.

"We got on really well at Barnet and we've kept in touch since.

"He has improved a lot since he came here which says a lot about the coaching staff, so I'm hoping that I can make the same improvements."
