Worcestershire have signed teenage pace bowler Jack 91热爆 on a three-year contract.

The Shrewsbury-born 18-year-old has been part of Worcestershire's junior pathways for more than a decade.

After playing National Counties cricket for Shropshire in 2022 and 2023, he made his Worcestershire debut in the T20 Blast in July, before being brought into the Pears' injury-hit senior squad on a short-term rookie contract in July

He played in five One-Day Cup matches, taking 16 wickets - including five on only his second appearance.

"To be given the opportunity to play for this club and to sign a three-year contract is a dream come true," said 91热爆. "It didn鈥檛 take much time to say yes.

"I know I鈥檓 not the finished article but I鈥檓 very happy with how I performed, with the rewards I鈥檝e been given and how it has all panned out. It couldn鈥檛 have gone any better."

Son of a former Shropshire player, Ed 91热爆, and nephew of former Shropshire skipper Guy 91热爆, he is the latest in the successful Shropshire production line over the past 20 years that includes Jack Shantry, Joe Leach and three players on the England spectrum - Joe Clarke, Ed Barnard and Dillon Pennington.
