All-rounder Daniel Sams has re-signed for Essex Eagles for the majority of the group games in the 2024 T20 Blast.
The 10-times capped Australia T20 international, who has signed for the first eight matches, will be spending his third stint with Essex.
He first signed in 2022 - and then returned in 2023 to help Essex reach the final, which they lost to Somerset.
New South Wales-born Sams, 31, has also played for Trent Rockets in the Men's Hundred for the last two seasons.
After playing for Sydney Thunder in this winter's Big Bash in Australia, he is currently playing for Sharjah Warriors in the International League in the United Arab Emirates.
Sams, who has made 10 T20 international appearances for Australia, has also played T20 cricket for three IPL sides - Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians - as well as both Sydney sides in the Big Bash.
Essex are due to start the T20 Blast season with a trip to Bristol to play Gloucestershire on 30 May.
Essex's two main overseas signings for 2024 are South Africans Simon Harmer, for an eighth straight season, and Dean Elgar.
