Northamptonshire pace bowler Jack White has signed a new contract to run until at least the end of the 2025 season.
The club were relegated from Division One of the County Championship this summer, but White was their leading bowler with 50 wickets.
The 31-year-old made a late entry into first-class cricket in 2020 and has taken 129 wickets for Northants.
"It was only really at the end of a tough season we showed how good we can be as a team," he said.
"I'm fully focused on trying to help the team get promoted back to Division One next season where I feel we belong."
White - who will spend part of the winter playing in New Zealand - took five wickets in a Championship innings three times in 2023.
His best figures are the 6-38 he took against Essex at Wantage Road at the end of the 2022 season.
"He's someone who has had to do it the hard way, he got noticed in the leagues, and came into the professional game at a later stage of his development," said head coach John Sadler.
"Through hard work and dedication to his craft, he has become one of the leading seam bowlers in the country."
