Former Middlesex coach and current West Indies assistant Toby Radford has been linked with the position of Glamorgan head of elite performance.

Matthew Mott will leave that role at the end of the season.

However, Glamorgan are keen to appoint a batting coach and Radford could be in the running to fill that position.

"It's the first I've heard of interest in Toby Radford, I think we'll get some good applicants for the post," said Glamorgan wicket-keeper Mark Wallace.

Radford is from Caerphilly and has worked with the West Indies since 2010. He was Middlesex head coach for two years before that.

Another major change in the Glamorgan back-room staff is their former opening batsman Hugh Morris quitting as managing director of the England and Wales Cricket Board to become the Welsh county's chief executive and managing director.

"I've spoken to Hugh today and it's exciting times at the club... it's a real coup to bring someone like Hugh into that role," added Wallace, speaking on the 91热爆's Radio Wales Sport programme.
