England v New Zealand: Tourists make two changes for Test series

New Zealand have added Mark Gillespie and Martin Guptill to their Test squad to tour England in May and June.

Bowler Gillespie and batsman Guptill are the only additions to the line-up that drew all three matches at home to England in last month's Test series.

The sides will contest two Tests, three one-day internationals, two Twenty20 games and the ICC Champions Trophy.

Meanwhile, ex-captain Daniel Vettori and wicketkeeper Luke Ronchi have been named in the limited-overs squad.

All-rounder Vettori returns after an eight-month absence with an Achilles problem, while Perth-raised Ronchi previously played seven internationals for Australia.

Opener Guptill is recalled after he missed the previous Test series with a thumb injury.

"The ODI squad has a core group of players who have now played in a number of international tournaments and bring a wealth of experience," national selection manager Kim Littlejohn said. "Having Daniel Vettori back in the side adds to that and we're really excited to have someone of his quality back in the team.

"Luke Ronchi gets his chance after impressing on the domestic scene. We know how dangerous he is and look forward to seeing him display his talents on the international stage."

New Zealand's tour of England begins with a three-day match against Derbyshire, starting on 4 May. The first Test, starting on 16 May, will be at Lord's, which will also host the first ODI on 31 May.

The action then breaks away for the Champions Trophy from 6-23 June, before two Twenty20 game between the nations take place at The Oval on 25 and 27 June.

New Zealand's Test squad: Brendon McCullum (captain), Trent Boult, Doug Bracewell, Dean Brownlie, Peter Fulton, Martin Guptill, Mark Gillespie, Tom Latham, Bruce Martin, Hamish Rutherford, Tim Southee, Ross Taylor, Neil Wagner, BJ Watling, Kane Williamson.
