Second Twenty20 international, Hamilton:

England 166-7 (20 overs) beat New Zealand 118 (19.2 overs) by 48 runs

England's women cruised to a 48-run victory over New Zealand in their second Twenty20 international at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

Charlotte Edwards and Laura Marsh shared an 82-run partnership to put England on their way to 166-7.

Danni Wyatt took three wickets to curtail hopes of a response from New Zealand, who were bowled out for 118 with four balls to spare.

England lead the five-match series 2-0 ahead of Wednesday's third game.

Marsh's 48 from 29 balls included 11 fours, while Sarah Taylor made 45 before falling in the final over.

Off-spinner Wyatt (3-24) was the pick of the bowlers, with Marsh and Anya Shrubsole claiming two wickets each as New Zealand collapsed.
