Peter Moores signs new two-year Lancashire contract

Lancashire head coach Peter Moores has signed a new two-year extension to his contract at Old Trafford.
The 49-year-old former England coach last season helped guide the Red Rose to their .
"I am really pleased to commit to Lancashire in what is a very exciting time for the club," said Moores.
"Since arriving here the players and staff have been fantastic and I have enjoyed my time immensely," he added.
"I am looking forward to working with everyone at the club over the coming years to try and build on the success of last season."

Before his time with the national side, he had in their history in 2003, having won promotion the previous year, a season in which they also finished top of the 40-over National League Division Two.
His achievements with Sussex eventually resulted in him being appointed director of the National Cricket Academy in 2005, before .
Lancashire's cricket director Mike Watkinson said: "Since he's been at Old Trafford he has brought the very best out of a largely home grown squad which culminated in our first title in 77 years.
