Graeme Swann is hoping for early wickets as England look to secure a 4-0 series win over India at The Oval.

The spinner took two second-innings wickets on Sunday as the tourists, who were forced to follow-on, finished day four still 162 runs adrift.

"After five days of cricket, if you're just going to turn up happy with the draw then you're not going to last long in this regime," said Swann.

"We'll be turning up tomorrow 100% committed to try to win this game."

After Rahul Dravid's heroic 146 not out in India's first innings, Swann managed to dismiss the man nicknamed "The Wall" for 13 when he was caught at short leg by Alastair Cook.

He then bowled Virender Sehwag through the gate as India closed on 129-3 - leaving Sachin Tendulkar, who is on the brink of 100 international centuries, with the task of saving the Test match.

Swann added: "We need to try to get the wickets early and especially get rid of Tendulkar. We don't want him sticking around too long."

The "Little Master" should have been out for 34 after he was stumped off Swann's bowling, but no England player appealed.

"They've only got about 12 pairs of eyes round the stumps," he joked.

"It's not exactly the brains trust who field round there, so it's no surprise nobody picked up on it."

Dravid played down his own contribution and instead focused on the chance of Tendulkar reaching his landmark.

"Obviously it's not an ideal situation," he said. "Losing [VVS] Laxman was a bit of a blow, but we've still got Sachin there.

"To be in a position where he's got to save the team and not really think about the 100 works for him, and I'm sure that's what he'll be focused on."
