Eilidh Child believes strength in depth gives Great Britain's 4x400m team a great chance to improve on their bronze medal at the IAAF World Relays.
The Scot ran the first leg as GB finished behind the the United States and Jamaica in the Bahamas to qualify for next year's Olympic Games.
"This squad is brilliant," she said.
"There are so many names there and everybody's going to be fighting for individual spots and that can only mean that the relays will be stronger."
Child, Kelly Massey, Shana Cox and Margaret Adeoye won one of Britain's two bronze medals in Nassau - the women's 4x100m team taking the other.
The men's 4x400m team's performance also ensured that GB will be represented in at least three relay events at the Rio Olympics next year.
"It just takes such a lot of weight off our shoulders now and it means we can really focus on building this team and be ready for Rio next year," Child told 91热爆 Sport.
"It is a great start to what we hope will be a brilliant season for all of us and we're just so happy."
Child, the hurdler now based in Bath, thought it was a "great achievement" to have managed a medal behind quality American and Jamaican opposition.
"We put together a really solid performance there and it is only May, so there's so much more to come from this team," she said.
"I am just really proud of how we performed out there."
