Lincoln City have signed wide player Erik Ring from AIK Stockholm on a four-year contract.
The Sweden Under-21 international has made the move from his boyhood club for an undisclosed fee to become the Imps' 11th summer transfer window signing.
"Joining Lincoln City feels like the right step for me," Ring, 22, said. "To come in and play at a high level, as part of a young and ambitious team.
"I've played for AIK since I was 15 and have been training with the first-team since 2020.
"I'm a supporter of AIK so playing for them has been amazing and the club has meant a lot to me. I would not have left unless I thought it was a really good opportunity, which is how I see Lincoln.
Head coach Michael Skubala added: 鈥淓rik is a really exciting young player, with huge potential, and possesses the pace and power that we have wanted. He is equally adept on either flank."
Lincoln began this season with a 3-2 win at Burton Albion before successive 2-1 home defeats by Harrogate Town, in the League Cup, and Barnsley.
Ring's first involvement could be in Saturday's home game with Mansfield Town.
