Nice to know that you're still alive and well Fred.

We will require piccies of the chooks in their new home... As for your polytunnel - getting the structure up is one thing.... but we learned that you need a really warm sunny day to put up the cover as this makes the cover easier to work with. As it cools, it'll be tighter. When we put ours up a couple of years back, we had to wait until June before we got a suitable day! And now this year, some severe gales from the north (not the ones from Ness as mentioned in calumannabel's blog!) blew the north and south doors in/off. The ducks got in and had a great time devouring the crops of kale, p-sprouting broccoli, all the salad leaves and even dug up the tatties! OH was so annoyed - he said he was 'annoyed at God so therefore was running his forklift on a Sunday in protest'....

Hey Fred, good to hear from you again! Hope you like your new job and that all is going OK. This having to work certainly messes up your life, doesn't it? Look forward to seeing more pics of house, garden and chicks. Good luck!

Right! Keep in touch, Fred. By the way, what kind of peppers was your neighbor talking about. Not bell peppers, hopefully. To go with the curry you need habaneros, scotch bonnets or, at the very least, cayennes.

It's not the getting it up, it's the keeping it up...so I'm told...oh don't ask me.
