Ìý Prostitute Trafficking Monday 24 February 2003 Ìý
More and more women are being trafficked into the UK for the sex trade each year.

Many of them have come to this country looking for a better life, but they end up working out of massage parlours throughout the country. When they are caught many are sent home only to be smuggled back in a few weeks later.
But what methods are being used to combat the trafficking of women for the sex trade and what is driving the current growth in the global sex industry.
Professor Roger Matthews of Middlesex University has studied prostitution for 15 years and has advised government projects on vice and Elaine Pearson of Anti-Slavery International and member of Steering Committee on tackling trafficking at 91Èȱ¬ Office join Jenni to discuss.
