A means of combating extremism?
Communities Secretary Hazel Blears is to publish new plans to give Muslim women a stronger voice and greater role in tackling violent extremism by attending leadership and assertiveness courses. Jenni talks to Hazel Blears, Shaista Gohir, Director of the Muslim Women’s Network, and Dr Reefat Drabu from the Muslim Council of Britain about why this could prove a controversial approach. |
