FRANK MATCHAM
John Wilson looks at the work of the architect and theatre designer Frank Matcham who designed the Hackney Empire and the Coliseum, which are both due to re-open next month after extensive refurbishment.
The Hackney Empire opens next Wednesday 28th January with Slava's Snowshow.
The English National Opera performs at the Coliseum on 21st February with Nixon in China. There's a Coliseum open day on Sunday 29th February
