Remembering Yvan Buravan

This is Africa pays tribute to talented Rwandan musician Yvan Buravan, who recently died from pancreatic cancer. We also hear from South African Amapiano duo MFR Souls.

This Is Africa this week remembers Yvan Buravan, the talented Rwandan musician who sadly died from pancreatic cancer recently. In an interview first broadcast a year ago on TIA, he talks about his album Twaje, and the new direction his sound was taking, in particular, mining Rwanda鈥檚 rich traditional musical heritage.

Also in the programme, South African Amapiano duo MFR Souls share how they are humbled by the success of hits like Love You Tonight and how much they appreciate the support of their parents.
