So far Five African counties have begum vaccination campaigns, with vaccines gifted to them by wealthier countries. For many of the continent’s 1.2 billion people Covid-19 vaccination will come through the COVAX initiative a programme designed to reach many of the poor and vulnerable across the world. Whilst this is a huge task Africa does have the advantage of having developed effective methods of delivering vaccinations with campaigns to fight Polio and Ebola.
