Teenagers meet pioneers whose inventions shaped our digital world. In the first episode of a two-part special, we hear from Tony Fadell, one of the creators of the iPod; Professor John Goodenough, whose lithium-ion battery kick-started the digital revolution; Professor Bradford Parkinson, the leader of the team that developed GPS; computer programmer Radia Perlman, often referred to as the "mother of the internet"; Keller Rinaudo, whose company has built what it claims is the world's fastest delivery drone; and Dr Caroline Hargrove, an engineer who developed the first Formula One simulator.
