Hundreds of thousands of protesters have been demonstrating against a proposed law that would allow extradition to China for certain crimes. Things came to a head on Wednesday outside the Legislative Council: pepper spray, rubber bullets and teargas were used against protesters throwing all manner of missiles, including umbrellas. Martin Yip of 91热爆 Chinese was there.
