As inflation bites, should governments keep small denominations in circulation? Jeff Gore thinks not. He runs 'Citizens to Retire the U.S. Penny'. Not everyone agrees, Brian Domitrovic, a professor of economic history at Sam Houston State University in Texas, believes there is an economic argument for keeping the one cent coin.
Also in the programme, who uses the estimated 11 billion one penny coins in use the UK? David Fagleman is from Cash Services UK, an organisation that works to ensure the correct amount of cash enters circulation.
