Israel and Hezbollah exchange heavy fire
Israel says it carried out a wave of pre-emptive strikes across southern Lebanon. Hezbollah says it managed to fire three hundred and twenty rockets and drones at Israel.
After the biggest clashes for some time between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, the United States says it's working to avoid a further escalation in hostilities.
