COP27: Why the UN climate conference matters

COP27 is reckoned to be the world's best hope of progress on the climate issue.

With the UN鈥檚 climate conference about to get underway in Egypt, we鈥檒l explain the key issues under discussion at COP27.

Kenya says this year's drought has killed thousands of wild animals including elephants and zebras. Our reporter has been looking at the figures released by the Kenyan Wildlife Service.

The issue of abortion is at the centre of several key US midterm contests. We鈥檒l speak to two people for whom abortion is their area of work about the effects of the Supreme Court鈥檚 decision to overturn Roe v Wade in June.
