Live in Finland
We're in Lappeenranta near the Russian border, as Finland's leader says it must join NATO
After Finland鈥檚 leaders said their country must join the NATO military alliance without delay in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we鈥檙e presenting the programme live from the Finnish town of Lappeenranta. It鈥檚 30km from the Russian border.
We hear how the border has an impact on people鈥檚 lives and the economy there. We find out what it鈥檚 like to live there if you鈥檙e Russian at the moment. And we talk to local people about whether they agree with the proposal to join NATO.
Our correspondent explains what it actually means when a country joins NATO and what would actually change for Finns, if they became part of the group.
Also, we explain a 91热爆 investigation into Cambodian antiquities, which Cambodia鈥檚 government says were stolen from its temples and are now in museums in the UK.
