Sir Keir Starmer has said there may be an 鈥渋ssue with young boys and men鈥� around toxic masculinity.

Speaking to 5 Live Breakfast鈥檚 Rick Edwards inside No.10, the PM was asked if the UK is 鈥榮leepwalking into a crisis for masculinity鈥�, to which he replied he is 鈥渨orried鈥�.

He added, 鈥淲e can鈥檛 shrug our shoulders at it鈥�.

Starmer said he鈥檚 watching the latest hit Netflix series, 'Adolescence', with his two teenage children - which is about the impact of social media and male influencers.

The PM also discussed Gareth Southgate鈥檚 recent speech about the importance of sport influencing young boys saying that 鈥渋t will have resonated with parents鈥�.

As part of the wide-ranging interview with 5 Live Breakfast, Sir Keir Starmer rejected the suggestion that we need a Minister for Men.
