As the 91热爆 soap EastEnders celebrates its 40th anniversary, former actress on the show Kellie Shirley, who played Carly Wicks and who also performed at the Stafford Shakespeare Festival in 2008, recalls her experience and the importance the show has for many people in the UK. She says the show is part of our DNA being British.
