To celebrate 40 years of EastEnders, Woman鈥檚 Hour headed to Albert Square, where Anita Rani was joined by some of the show鈥檚 most iconic and powerful women.

One of those women was Michelle Collins, who plays Cindy Beale in the show, and was brought back in 2023 after faking her death 25 years earlier.

EastEnders executive producer Chris Clenshaw told Anita why he wanted to resurrect Cindy鈥檚 character and Michelle described how it felt to be invited back and why she actually felt a bit nervous to reprise her classic role.
