Hockney on Hockney (1976)

David Hockney on The Book Programme in 1976, talking about looking for his first ever job in his hometown of Bradford and the local business that encouraged his Art School amibitions.

As part of Bradford 2025 David Hockney is supporting a nationwide year-long celebration of drawing. DRAW! invites people cross the UK to take part in a drawing project to reflect our everyday lives, culminating in an exhibition in Bradford at the end of the year.
