Andrew Malkinson: I'm still waiting for compensation

Andy Malkinson, who spent 17 years in prison for a rape he didn't commit, has called for the remaining leadership of the Criminal Cases Review Commission to resign. Its chair Helen Pitcher announced she was standing down, claiming she'd been made a scapegoat. While Mr Malkinson was in prison, the Commission twice rejected his submissions that he was innocent. He was finally cleared in 2023. He speaks to Justin Webb on the Today programme about developments at the review body and how he still hasn't received any compensation from the government since his release. Justin also talks to James Burley from the law practice and charity APPEAL.
