The author of ‘Nervous Conditions’, voted in the top 10 of Africa’s Best Books of the 20th century, talks about the people and events that lead her to the life she has today

Tsitsi Dangarembga is a critically acclaimed Zimbabwean writer.

She is known for her trilogy of semi-autobiographical novels- ‘Nervous Conditions’, ‘The Book of Not’, and ‘This Mournable Body'.

She’s won awards, made films, been arrested for anti-government protests in her home country and lived in Zimbabwe and abroad.
