'Why is he being held in a military jail?'

The veteran Ugandan opposition leader Kizza Besigye has appeared before a military court in Kampala, four days after going missing in Kenya. Mr Besigye arrived at the court martial in a military van. He has been charged with four counts including possessing ammunition and negotiating for arms with foreigners. Mr Besigye and his co-accused have denied the charges. Among those demanding his immediate release is his wife, Winnie Byanyima. Speaking to Newshour's Tim Franks from Geneva, where she's executive director of the United Nations Agency, UNAIDS.
