Thank you and good morning. Cornwall's most senior criminal court is sitting for fewer days as part of government efforts to reduce spending.
Truro Crown Court is operating for four days a week until March.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Justice said 鈥渨hile it was bound by a challenging financial inheritance, this government is committed to bearing down on the Crown courts backlog."
It said the new government had increased the total number of Crown court sitting days across England and Wales by 500 to over 100,000.
It added moves to extend magistrates' powers to hand out longer sentences from six to 12 months would free up about 2,000 days for Crown courts.

An event has been held to mark the "birthdate" of two ships set to be used for the crossings between Penzance and the Isles of Scilly.
The Isles of Scilly Steamship Group performed a keel-laying ceremony at French boatbuilder Piriou's shipyard in Vietnam to mark the building of the Scillonian IV and the cargo vessel Menawethan.
The keel-laying is considered by people in the boat-building industry as the official birth of a vessel and was a "significant milestone" in the process, the company said.
Both vessels are set to be brought into service for the crossing in 2026.
Officials from Britain, France and Vietnam attended the ceremony, including British Ambassador to Vietnam Iain Frew.
ISSG said the Scillonian IV will have space for 600 passengers, which was 24% more than her predecessor, and have stabilisation technology to make journeys more comfortable for passengers.
The Menawethan is named after one of the twelve eastern islets will replace the Gry Maritha and has been named after one of the 12 uninhabited eastern isles which are part of the Isles of Scilly.

The Lizard Post office is set to close next month, as its long-term tenants move on after nearly four decades.
Len and Linda Trott took over running The Lizard Post Office in 1988.
Mr Trott, 79, and who is retiring, said it would be a "sad day" as the peninsula had had its own post office for more than 120 years.
The Post Office said it was inviting potential tenants to come forward and run the shop but no-one had done so yet. It said the facility would close on Wednesday 4 December at 17:00 GMT.
The Post Office itself was built in 1897 and still has many of its historic features, including the original wooden counter and a solid wooden desk with brass handles.
