Virgin Media O2 has a new tool for tackling scammers - a loveable granny. Powered by artificial intelligence, Daisy is trained to waste fraudsters' time. We put her to the test.
Daisy is an AI bot designed to waste fraudsters' time. She's been created by Virgin Media O2, who say she's "indistinguishable" from a real human.
The company, which has been posting her phone number on scamming forums, says she's already answered 1,000 calls - and kept some people on the line for more than 40 minutes.
