Ed, from Stamford, rode in the men鈥檚 team sprint.
The father of Stamford鈥檚 Ed Lowe says a silver medal was beyond all expectations for the men鈥檚 team sprint cycling trio in Paris.
David Lowe was at the velodrome to see his son, along with team-mates Jack Carlin and Hamish Turnbull, set a new national record as they finished runners-up to the Netherlands in the final.
