Team GB: What will Laura Kenny miss about the Olympics?
Former cyclist Laura Kenny has revealed what she miss about this year's Olympics after she announced her retirement from the sport.
Laura, who is Britain's joint most-decorated female Olympian, hung up her helmet in March 2024, with six Olympic medals - just five months out from the Paris Olympics.
After giving birth to her first son in 2017, Laura then considered retirement after a miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy before welcoming her second child last year.
Paris will be the first Olympics since 2012 that she won't be attending as an athlete, so what will she miss?
"A presentation is honestly like nothing else so I will miss that side of things or when you get announced on track", she said.
Laura conceded though, "the cycling... I don't know whether I've just not got that competitiveness in me anymore!".
