TRANSLATION: The story of a Truro man killed in Ukraine after rescuing hundreds of people from the front line has been turned into a documentary. The 91热爆 film 鈥楬ell Jumper鈥� features the work of Chris Parry, who went to the country shortly after it was invaded by Russia more than 2 years ago. Mr Parry, 28, died from gunshot wounds alongside fellow volunteer Andrew Bagshaw in January 2023, after rescuing more than 400 people. Much of his work is captured on 10 hours of bodycam footage, which makes up a large part of the film. The film was produced by Adriana Tymco. She said that Mr Parry had told her about his year in Ukraine, about the horrors he鈥檇 seen and how it had changed him. She said, 鈥渉e started sending me footage, and said that if anything happened to him, he would like his family to have something of him.鈥� She said she never ever thought this would become true. There was a premiere of the film for family and friends at Truro's Plaza Cinema It will be broadcast on 91热爆2 on 24 July, and will also be available on 91热爆 iPlayer.
