Hartlepool woman fears losing 'lifeline' service
Hartlepool grandmother Margaret Cass tells the 91热爆's Louise Hobson she feels ashamed she would not be able to afford proposed new charges for a 'life line' health service which is currently free.
Hartlepool Council were due to bring in a charge this month for home-based telecare services, which alert healthcare staff to things like falls.
The authority now say it will be postponing them until October as they explore ways of potentially reducing the charges.
