The running club empowering a community
Only a few years ago, Allison Hill thought running wasn't her thing. That is until the pandemic shut gyms and fitness classes, leaving her with no outlet for exercise other than running.
Now with a new love for running, Hill founded Hill Run Club, a body-positive, size-inclusive and culturally sensitive running group for Black women of all abilities which now has over 500 members across Canada.
Hill tells Sportshour鈥檚 Caroline Barker about her story of not just running, but of grief, friendship and changing minds.
