‘Living Sea Walls’ popping up in Cornish harbours
Over 150 hexagonal tiles with textured designs have been put up on sea walls in Falmouth, Plymouth and Mevagissey, to provide a sanctuary for sea creatures. There are also plans to install more tiles in Newquay, Padstow and Port Isaac
The tiles are a relatively new concept in the UK and have been inspired by those in Australia called Living Sea Walls. It's part of work being carried out by the Cornish environmental charity 'Our Only World'.
