Dachshunds could face breeding ban in Germany
A new law in Germany is designed to stop breeding practices that cause long-term suffering on Dachshunds.
The dogs are prone to problems with their spines because of their long backs and short legs.
Newshour’s James Menendez asked Anna Webb, a dog behaviourist and host of the A Dogs Life Podcast, what the new law could mean for the beloved breed.
